Membership
Membership of the Tokai Pony Club Arena is open to all riders who wish to join, provided they agree to adhere to a few basic rules. Users are also encouraged to get involved, as raking of the arenas and general maintenance is done by the members.
What it costs
Membership is R3 000 a year, payable on 1 April each year. This may also be paid in four quarterly payments of R840 each, due on the first days of April, July, October and January.
A R40 refundable deposit for a key is also payable on joining.
How to join
- Complete the membership and indemnity forms
- Choose annual or quarterly payment (add R40 key deposit)
- Email forms and proof of payment to info@tokaiponyclub.co.za (please cc sarah@string.co.za)

A few basic do’s and don’ts
- Members have unlimited use of the arenas.
- The jumping arena should be booked via the Tokai Arena WhatsApp Group, which all members are linked to.
- Schooling of horse can be done outside of booked jumping lessons.
- Riders are asked to ride considerately and respect the rights of other users.
- Riders using their keys to allow non-members access will forfeit their membership.
- The facility is available for clinics and casual use by arrangement.
- Please don’t bring your dogs.
- Use is at your own risk.
